Terms of service

The agreement between you (the business using Qantori) and us (Qantori). We've tried to write it like a real contract should read: short, specific, no hidden traps.

1. The parties

These terms are between Qantori(“Qantori”, “we”, “us”) – a trading name of Vasil Kacarov, operating as a sole trader in the United Kingdom – and you, the business or person using our services, identified by the account you create.

2. What we provide

A platform that connects you with a UK-qualified accountant (your “Panel Accountant”) and the software they use to manage your bookkeeping, filings, and advisory work. Specifically:

  • A matched Panel Accountant, appropriate to your entity type and sector
  • Document capture, bank feed integration, and transaction categorisation
  • Preparation and filing of statutory returns (VAT, CT, SA, payroll, as applicable to your plan)
  • Messaging and advisory access with your Panel Accountant, within the response times of your plan
  • Secure storage of your records for the statutory 6 years

3. What you do

To let us do our job well, you agree to:

  • Give us accurate information at onboarding and keep it current
  • Provide documents and responses within reasonable time – filings have hard HMRC deadlines
  • Complete AML verification within 14 days of signup
  • Not use Qantori to process transactions that are illegal, fraudulent, or outside the UK tax jurisdiction
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

4. Fees & billing

Fees are the subscription price shown on your plan, billed monthly or annually in advance by card or direct debit. You can change plan any time – upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the next billing period.

Late or failed payments: we'll retry for 14 days, then pause new work while keeping your account active. Accounts unpaid for 60 days are closed and data is handed back to you.

5. Scope & limitations

Each plan covers the filings and work types listed on its plan page. Work outside that scope (one-off projects, R&D claims, transfer pricing, insolvency, tax investigations) can be quoted separately.

We do not provide legal advice, financial advice regulated by the FCA, or audit services. If you need those, your Panel Accountant can refer you.

6. Term & cancellation

Month-to-month unless you've chosen annual billing. You can cancel any time from your account settings; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period, after which we hand over your records.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that breach these terms, with 14 days' notice where reasonable, immediately for serious breaches (fraud, abuse, non-payment beyond 60 days).

7. Liability

Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in that period, or (b) £50,000 – whichever is higher.

We carry professional indemnity insurance of £5m; your Panel Accountant carries their own (min £1m). Claims against accounting work are made against their insurance, with our support.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes we can't resolve together go to the courts of England and Wales.

Last materially updated 14 October 2025. Previous versions available on request. We'll notify you 30 days before any change that affects your rights.
